Hop on the bus and help a child start the school year ready to learn!

Each summer, Friends of the Children – Tampa Bay helps our youth gear up for a new school year. Through our Back-to-School Bus program, volunteers can sponsor a specific child by providing the exact supplies, clothing, and essentials they need to start the year confident and prepared. Volunteers “take a seat” on the bus by selecting a child and receiving a personalized list of requested items. You’ll shop for those items and return them packaged with care — ensuring every child walks into the first day of school ready to succeed.
